What is the best thing about your Apprenticeship experience?
The best thing about the apprenticeship was the theory/hand on combination. The field experience reaffirmed the knowledge gained in the classroom. Not to mention the opportunity to meet great people.
What has this apprenticeship meant to you? Your family?
The apprenticeship is the door for a great career and a stronger economic foundation. For my family, that’s exactly what this meant.
Advice for new Apprentices.
Learn all you can, practice as much as you can and after that, keep learning.

Work to prepare, take classes on your own and be ready for the opportunity.

I would like to mention that for me, it was key having people supporting you: foremost family, coworkers and the JATC staff. Also, well prepared and experienced faculty was a blessing while I was there.
